Design
Inception and brief - from client.
Survey & appraisal - of site chosen, measured survey of existing buildings including levels and preparing formal survey drawings, advise on condition of existing buildings.
Feasibility study - preparing proposals for discussion and development with client, preliminary discussions with Local Authority.
Proposals and final scheme drawings - for planning application purposes and carrying out assessment reports under the CDM regulations.
Detail design - for Building Regulations application under the Building Act.

Contract preparation & administration
Tendering - inviting contractors / builders or sub-contractors to submit formal tenders and reporting on outcome to clients.
Contracts - preparation of contract documentation as necessary and arranging for their execution.
Management - overseeing the project on the client's behalf, instructing contractor, inspecting the progress of the contract. Carry out administration duties under the contract (site meetings, reports, certification & payments). Supplying client with project file at end of contract, as built drawings, Health & Safety file where appropriate.
