We offer a professional, multi-disciplinary work practice, working on behalf a wide range of clients, including Local Authorities, Private Institutions, Public & Private Companies, Organisations and Domestic Clients.

With any project we can offer advice on full or approximate costs, design strategies, surveying, project management and post - project advice. We can also tailor our full services to suit any Client leaving the Client in full control of the project.

Obtaining a Clients brief and producing scaled drawings and general proposals from which Local Authority applications (Planning, Listed Building & Building Regulations) can be made. We can also offer a complete Self Build package

Surveying & Building Investigations

We can offer a full range of independant surveys for mortgage usage, condition surveys for Landlords and property owners, historical building surveys, insurance valuations and insurance reinstatement schedules, along with reports and statements

Construction services

Services are offered in connection with development and building schemes, extensions, new builds, Carpentry & Joinery, renovation & refurbishment and building maintenance. We also offer services for general domestic property improvements from replacing doors & windows through to replacing kitchen & bathroom installations. We even have a 'flat pack' installaton service available

Cost estimating & Planning

General Quantity surveying and cost planning, including management of a building project. We can offer a simple cost breakdown or a more complex Bill of Quantities

Contract Administration

Project management, site inspections and certification of the project. Health & Safety reports and CDM audits

Property Management

Maintenance reports and work schedules, maintenance programmes and general repairs

Furniture Designer

We can design one off pieces or a range of furniture for any Client and produce the designs in our workshop. Making a truly bespoke piece of work

Building Pathology

We offer investigation services for commercial, industrial & domestic buildings in order to find building problems, from general leaks to sources of damp and mould. If you have a problem with your building structure / fabric, we can help

Property Improvements

Offering the Client a full range of internal fit outs, such as kitchen installations, Bedroom & Bathroom installations, Home office installations and Interior design schemes. Utilising a full range of trades or a bespoke service tailored to each individuals requirements

Insurance Reinstatement Surveys

Offering a full survey of the property and assessing the extent of the damage,we can then undertake a full report and reinstatement schedule (along with detailed plans) and offer a Project Management service for the building claim for the Policyholder and in conjunction with the insurance company. We also work along side Loss Assessors, Loss Adjusters and Insurance Brokers in order to maintain a steady flow of progress throughout the claim process

Refurbishment Plans & Schemes

Utilising our general knowledge of building technology we can offer property developers, domestic clients and commercial clients full property surveys, technical reports, general refurbishment schedules and plans in order to renovate or refurbish a property to any specific requirements

Access plans & schemes

We can advise Clients on current legislation in respect to the Disability Discrimination Act and what should be done to their premises for compliance

Timber Structures Design

We have extensive knowledge in timber technology and timber design from small conservatories and orangeries to entire timber framed buildings, including the construction of garden dens, summerhouses, children's playhouses and garden offices

History

Karl has 20+ years experience within the construction industry and is a qualified Carpenter & Joiner as well as a qualified Chartered Architectural Technologist and Technical Surveyor. He holds a City & Guilds in Carpentery & Joinery to advanced level, a HNC in Building studies and a BSc (Hons) degree in Architectural Technology

Karl is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), Fellow of Institute of Carpenters (FIOC), Incorporated member of Chartered Institute of Building (ICIOB), Member of Faculty of Building (MFB), Professional member of TRADA and an Affiliate member of RIBA
